Profile Guidelines

These Profile Guidelines govern dealer and vendor profiles displayed in the BHPH Success marketplace, including profile eligibility, claimed and unclaimed listings, accuracy, verification, content standards, media, editing, suspension, and removal.

Last Updated: August 8, 2026

BHPH Success maintains marketplace profiles to help independent automotive dealers discover and evaluate vendors, service providers, technology companies, consultants, and other businesses serving the automotive industry, and to support professional participation by registered dealers.

These Profile Guidelines apply to dealer profiles, vendor profiles, claimed profiles, unclaimed profiles, and any business information displayed through BHPH Success.

These Guidelines are incorporated into and should be read together with the BHPH Success Terms of Use, General Vendor Terms, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies.

1. Scope And Purpose

The purpose of these Guidelines is to maintain accurate, useful, professional, and trustworthy marketplace profiles.

BHPH Success may establish reasonable standards for which businesses and users qualify for profiles, how profile information is presented, and how inaccurate, misleading, duplicated, outdated, or inappropriate profile information is addressed.

2. Dealer And Vendor Profiles

Dealer Profiles

Dealer profiles are intended for legitimate independent automotive dealerships, Buy Here Pay Here dealerships, dealership groups, and other qualifying automotive retail businesses and their authorized representatives.

Vendor Profiles

Vendor profiles are intended for legitimate companies, service providers, software providers, consultants, professional firms, and other businesses offering products or services relevant to independent automotive dealerships.

BHPH Success may determine profile type, category placement, and marketplace classification based on information provided by the business, publicly available information, marketplace structure, and our editorial judgment.

3. Vendor Eligibility

A Vendor may generally qualify for inclusion when it offers a legitimate product or service relevant to independent automotive dealerships and fits within one or more marketplace categories.

Relevant categories may include, without limitation:

  • Accounting and CPA services;
  • Advertising;
  • AI, GEO, and SEO;
  • Collections;
  • Communications;
  • Compliance;
  • Consulting;
  • CRM;
  • Credit reporting;
  • Dealer financing;
  • Document management;
  • GPS and recovery;
  • Insurance;
  • Legal services;
  • Payments;
  • Reinsurance;
  • Scoring and desking;
  • Training;
  • Vehicle history;
  • Websites; and
  • Other categories established by BHPH Success.

BHPH Success may decline or remove profiles that are unrelated to the marketplace, fraudulent, misleading, inactive, illegitimate, duplicative, or otherwise inconsistent with marketplace standards.

BHPH Success is not limited to software vendors. The marketplace may include products, professional services, financial services, training, consulting, technology, operational services, and other dealership-related offerings.

4. Dealer Eligibility

Dealer profiles and dealer accounts are intended for legitimate automotive dealership businesses and authorized representatives of those businesses.

BHPH Success may require reasonable information to verify dealership identity or affiliation, including:

  • Dealership name;
  • Business email address;
  • Website;
  • Telephone number;
  • Business location;
  • Employment or ownership relationship;
  • Dealer licensing or business registration information where appropriate; or
  • Other reasonable verification information.

Dealer users may not falsely represent affiliation with a dealership or create an account in the name of a business they are not authorized to represent.

5. Claimed And Unclaimed Profiles

Unclaimed Profiles

BHPH Success may create or maintain vendor profiles using publicly available or otherwise lawfully obtained business information.

An unclaimed profile may exist even if the business has not registered for, paid for, sponsored, or otherwise participated in BHPH Success.

Claimed Profiles

An authorized business representative may be permitted to claim a profile and manage designated profile information through an approved account.

Claiming a profile does not transfer ownership of the marketplace page, profile structure, reviews, ratings, marketplace data, or BHPH Success-created content to the business.

Account Closure Versus Profile Removal

Closing an account or canceling paid services does not necessarily require removal of an otherwise lawful marketplace profile.

A claimed profile may be converted to an unclaimed profile where permitted by these Guidelines and applicable law.

6. Profile Verification

BHPH Success may take reasonable steps to verify the identity, affiliation, or business information associated with a profile.

Verification methods may include:

  • Business email verification;
  • Website verification;
  • Telephone verification;
  • Review of publicly available business information;
  • Direct communication with the business;
  • Business or dealer registration information;
  • Other reasonable verification methods.

BHPH Success may display designations such as "Verified Dealer," "Verified Vendor," "Claimed Profile," "Unclaimed Profile," or similar indicators where appropriate.

A verification designation confirms only the particular verification steps performed by BHPH Success. It does not constitute an endorsement, certification of quality, regulatory approval, or guarantee of the business.

7. Profile Information And Accuracy

Users responsible for claimed profiles should take reasonable steps to keep profile information accurate and current.

Profile information should accurately identify:

  • The business name;
  • Products or services offered;
  • Marketplace categories;
  • Website and destination links;
  • Business location where relevant;
  • Contact information where displayed;
  • Company description;
  • Pricing or promotional information if provided; and
  • Other material business information.

BHPH Success may supplement, correct, standardize, reformat, or update profile information using information provided by the business or information obtained from reliable public sources.

Businesses should promptly report material inaccuracies.

8. Profile Content Standards

Profile content should be accurate, relevant, professional, and appropriate for a business marketplace.

Profile Content Should:

  • Accurately describe the business, product, or service;
  • Use reasonable spelling and grammar;
  • Match the business or product name used by the company;
  • Use working destination links;
  • Identify products and services clearly;
  • Use accurate pricing or promotional information where provided; and
  • Comply with applicable law and BHPH Success policies.

Profile Content May Not:

  • Contain false, fraudulent, or materially misleading statements;
  • Impersonate another business;
  • Use another company's trademarks or copyrighted material without appropriate rights;
  • Contain defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful material;
  • Contain malware, malicious links, or deceptive redirects;
  • Include fabricated credentials, licenses, certifications, awards, or endorsements;
  • Misrepresent regulatory approval or compliance status;
  • Contain consumer Social Security numbers, credit information, financial information, or confidential deal information;
  • Manipulate reviews, ratings, rankings, or marketplace information; or
  • Otherwise violate the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, or applicable policies.

Reasonable first-person company descriptions and calls to action may be permitted where appropriate.

9. Logos, Images, Screenshots, Video, And Other Media

Profiles may include logos, photographs, software screenshots, videos, product images, dealership imagery, documents, and other media where supported by the marketplace.

By submitting media, you represent that you have sufficient rights to provide the material and authorize BHPH Success to use it in accordance with applicable terms.

Media should:

  • Accurately relate to the business, dealership, product, or service represented;
  • Be reasonably current and clear;
  • Not infringe third-party rights;
  • Not contain deceptive claims;
  • Not contain unlawful or inappropriate content; and
  • Not include sensitive consumer information.

BHPH Success may resize, crop, compress, format, or otherwise technically modify submitted media for display and marketplace operation.

11. Duplicate, Misleading, And Unauthorized Profiles

Users may not create duplicate, misleading, or unauthorized profiles for the purpose of manipulating marketplace visibility, reviews, ratings, search placement, or user perception.

BHPH Success may merge, consolidate, rename, redirect, suspend, or remove duplicate profiles.

A reseller, agent, affiliate, consultant, or other third party may not claim to be the owner or primary provider of another company's product or service unless authorized to do so.

BHPH Success may request evidence of authorization where appropriate.

12. Free And Paid Profiles

BHPH Success may offer unclaimed profiles, free claimed profiles, enhanced profiles, premium profiles, sponsored placement, advertising, and other paid marketplace services.

Free or paid status may affect available features, profile customization, analytics, promotional opportunities, placement, or other functionality.

However, payment does not give a business ownership of its marketplace page or control over independent marketplace content.

BHPH Success may modify the features available to free or paid profiles subject to applicable agreements.

13. BHPH Success Editorial Control

BHPH Success retains discretion over marketplace organization, profile formatting, category placement, presentation, standardized fields, editorial copy, and marketplace structure.

We may edit or standardize profile content for:

  • Clarity;
  • Accuracy;
  • Grammar;
  • Formatting;
  • Consistency;
  • Category placement;
  • Marketplace usability;
  • Policy compliance; or
  • Removal of inappropriate content.

We may also incorporate publicly available business information, review-derived information, or other lawful sources where appropriate.

A paid relationship does not give a Dealer or Vendor the right to dictate BHPH Success editorial decisions, suppress lawful negative reviews, alter marketplace ratings, or remove competing businesses.

14. Reviews, Ratings, And Profile Content

Reviews and ratings associated with a profile may be submitted by independent marketplace users and are governed by the Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.

Claiming or paying for a profile does not give the business the right to:

  • Delete legitimate negative reviews;
  • Change reviewer ratings;
  • Require only positive reviews to be displayed;
  • Suppress lawful criticism;
  • Alter review attribution;
  • Create fake reviews; or
  • Manipulate marketplace ratings.

Businesses may be permitted to respond to reviews in accordance with marketplace features and Community Guidelines.

15. No Endorsement Or Regulatory Certification

Inclusion in the BHPH Success marketplace does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, certification, approval, licensing, or warranty by BHPH Success.

This applies to all businesses, including businesses operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive areas such as:

  • Financing;
  • Credit reporting;
  • Collections;
  • Payments;
  • Insurance;
  • Reinsurance;
  • GPS and recovery;
  • Legal services;
  • Accounting;
  • Compliance services; and
  • Other regulated or professional services.

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging a business.

16. Profile Suspension, Restriction, And Removal

BHPH Success may restrict, suspend, modify, merge, unpublish, or remove a profile where reasonably necessary.

Reasons may include:

  • The business no longer qualifies for the marketplace;
  • The profile is fraudulent or misleading;
  • The profile duplicates another listing;
  • The business cannot reasonably be verified;
  • The profile violates these Guidelines or other policies;
  • The profile contains unlawful or harmful content;
  • The profile is used to manipulate reviews or rankings;
  • The business is no longer operating;
  • The product or service is no longer offered;
  • Security or fraud concerns exist; or
  • Removal or restriction is otherwise reasonably necessary to protect users or marketplace integrity.

Requests For Removal

BHPH Success may consider reasonable requests to remove or correct profile information.

However, a business does not automatically have the right to require removal of an otherwise lawful marketplace listing simply because it does not wish to participate, has canceled paid services, disagrees with reviews, or objects to marketplace comparisons.

17. Closed Businesses And Discontinued Products

If a business closes or a product or service is discontinued, BHPH Success may:

  • Remove the profile;
  • Mark the profile as closed, discontinued, inactive, or no longer available;
  • Retain historical reviews or marketplace information where appropriate;
  • Redirect users to related marketplace content; or
  • Take another reasonable action consistent with marketplace integrity.

BHPH Success may rely on the company's website, public records, direct confirmation, or other reasonable information when determining whether a business or offering remains active.

18. Reporting Incorrect Or Unauthorized Profile Information

If you believe a profile contains materially inaccurate information, improperly uses your intellectual property, falsely represents your business, or was claimed by an unauthorized person, you may report the issue to BHPH Success.

A report should include sufficient information to identify:

  • The affected profile;
  • The information believed to be incorrect;
  • The basis for the requested correction;
  • Your relationship to the affected business; and
  • Supporting information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request.

BHPH Success may request additional verification before modifying profile ownership, business identity, or other material profile information.

19. Enforcement

BHPH Success may take reasonable action to enforce these Guidelines.

Enforcement measures may include:

  • Requesting corrections;
  • Editing or removing content;
  • Changing category placement;
  • Removing media or links;
  • Removing claimed-profile control;
  • Converting a profile to unclaimed status;
  • Suspending account features;
  • Restricting communication privileges;
  • Removing profiles;
  • Terminating accounts; or
  • Taking other reasonable measures necessary to protect marketplace integrity.

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate enforcement without prior warning.

20. Changes To These Guidelines

BHPH Success may update these Profile Guidelines to reflect changes to marketplace functionality, profile requirements, business practices, applicable law, or other circumstances.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision.

Continued use of profile features after updated Guidelines become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
